Impression

Imagine this.

Your entire life, you have been waiting to meet your idol (in this case, he will be famous). This person is everything you want to be and more. He seems to have everything from the girls to the money; the life. He is always friendly and always knows just what to say. He has a way with everything; his moves are planned out perfectly. Music comes naturally to him, he is a great artist, a singer, plays five instruments, is brilliant, and could be a world-class athlete.

By chance, you find out that he is coming near your hometown, so you plan to attend
his event. On the day of, there are thousands of people lined up to meet him, but you are lucky enough to have spot near the front. As he approaches, people scream and he smiles back with appreciation. People take pictures and ask for autographs.

All your life, you have been waiting for this moment. Waiting to say the perfect thing; that line that will make him remember you for years to come. He comes nearer and your heart starts to race; you forget what you wanted to tell him.
Slowly he passes on by, barely noticing your blank face, bombared by one hundred other fans.

Of course, this example is not limited to a ”him” and can certainly be extended to ”her.”

I apologize if I have painted a sad picture, but it was merely an attempt to make a point.

If you have ever waited too long to do something you wanted to do and regretted the decision, you may know that it hurts. My message is this: Make your impression now because you never know when you’ll have another chance to.

Take that opportunity and go that extra mile to leave a positive memory; you may kick yourself later if you don’t.
